“Having Stef Haynes come and work with my students was a game changer for me. He worked with my beginning band students across a few grade levels and was able to connect with each group in a different way. He made the instrument accessible and fun for my beginners. By starting with a demonstration of what the flute sounds like, he got all of them interested . Then by taking time to show them how to make sounds, he kept them engaged. Learning the flute can be really difficult and challenging, but Stef was incredibly patient. He took the time with each student, listening to their questions and answering in a respectful and direct way.
